AstraEffect Discord Rules

AstraEffect is intended to be a fun, safe, and friendly environment for all players to enjoy. As such, we have a list of rules we expect all players to follow with no exceptions. By choosing to play on AstraEffect, you agree to follow all the rules listed below and Discord TOS & Community Guidelines.

We expect our users to participate in the discord in a respectful and welcoming manner. This means that any form of disrespectful or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Our rules apply to every part of the discord, including threads, replies, conversation messages, linked content (videos, images, and websites shared through URLs), and account content (avatars, profile banners, signatures, usernames, about pages, etc.)

Reporting content that violates the rules helps us ensure that the discord remain a welcoming and positive environment for all users. Reporting a player can be done by opening a ticket in our discord under “Player Report” in #support

Behaviours that are not allowed, regardless of intent, include but are not limited to:

Abusive or Inappropriate Content
Jokes or discussions surrounding adult topics, NFSW, encouraging or participating in flame wars, disrespectful language, threatening language, sharing IP loggers and other malicious content, discriminatory language, or videos/gifs containing excessive flashing and/or noises.

Spamming
Repeatedly posting similar/duplicate content, intentionally posting content in the incorrect section or reposting content that has been deleted/locked by the staff team.

Advertising Giveaways, Contests, or IRL Trading
Advertising giveaways, contents, trades, and commissions have limitations, as described below:

・Giveaways or contests with in-game items or real-life currency as prizes are disallowed.
・Commissions for external services, such as art, are disallowed.
・Commissions involving the sale of in-game services are allowed, as long as they are only in exchange for items from within the same game.

Reaction Abuse
Spamming reactions, using reactions to harass other users, boosting solutions, misuse of reaction (eg. duck emoji on an change-log), or creating content exclusively to ask others to give you reactions.

Misleading or Falsified Content
Intentionally spreading misinformation, extremely misleading titles, manipulating or falsifying quotes to harm others or impersonating staff members.

Political or Religious Discussion
Due to their divisive nature, any form of political or religious discussion is disallowed.

Abusive Accounts
Accounts intended to evade punishments, troll and post harmful content, harass other users, or increase another account's reaction score. 

Users will receive warning points when they break the rules, and if a user gets enough warning points, it could result in a ban from the discord.
Warning points varies depending on what guideline/rule is broken.


Other potential consequences for rules violations:

・Reactions may be removed from your account.
・Being issued warning points for rules violations on alternate accounts.
・In-game bans may be issued for users who have been found to be excessively abusing alternate accounts.
・In-game bans may be issued if serve punishments occur.
